Homemade sugar scrubs are really simple (and cheap) to make and are great for giving as gifts!
There are tons of recipes out there in the online world, but most of them require essential oils for the fragrance.
Although essential oils are great for making these smell yummy, it can be a little pricy to buy if you don't have any laying around your house. And sometimes, it is even hard to find depending on where you live.
So, I searched around to find some recipes that require very simple ingredients that most of us (non essential oil people) have on had.

It is really not hard to make these and they really make your skin feel great. You can come up with your own recipe after you get the basics.
The main ingredients that you need are sugar/salt, oil, and something to make it smell good (if you want).
Try a combination of any of these:
white sugar
brown sugar
raw sugar
sea salt
Epsion salt
olive oil
vegetable oil
coco butter
coconut oil
vanilla extract
peppermint extract
lemon extract
coconut extract
