Here are some of the things that I have gotten for free in the mail within the past 2 months and how I got them:

 I got all of these items for free by writing to the company and letting them know that I was not 100% satisfied with their product. In return, they sent me free coupons.

 The tea was a free sample and the Coke coupon I got by writing to the company.

 I got this box of baby food, soap, and toothpaste by being a member of greenmomsmeet.com

 I got the juice and chap-stick for free by using the Ibotta iPhone app. and the Advil by being a member of smiley360.com

 I got the free Dove product coupon by writing to them and the Biofreeze was a sample.

 These were both free samples.

 I got the free 24 pack by writing to the company and the Emergen-C was a free sample.

Easy, Simple Scrubs

Homemade sugar scrubs are really simple (and cheap) to make and are great for giving as gifts!

 

There are tons of recipes out there in the online world, but most of them require essential oils for the fragrance.

 

Although essential oils are great for making these smell yummy, it can be a little pricy to buy if you don't have any laying around your house. And sometimes, it is even hard to find depending on where you live.

 

So, I searched around to find some recipes that require very simple ingredients that most of us (non essential oil people) have on had.

Here are some DIY Christmas ideas that shouldn't cost much to make. I tried to find some that are simple to make so even if you are not that crafty, maybe you can still pull some of these off.

 

Christmas doesn't have to be about elaborate decorations. Be creative and use what you have on hand.

 

Even if you don't have the exact things that these projects require, you can try using something else that might be able to work. For example: Don't have any ribbon? Cut up some old clothes or other fabric.
